Denzel Washington is headed back to our screens with Joel Coen's The Tragedy Of Macbeth, due on Apple TV+ in the UK on 14 January. But he's also returning with some behind-the-camera work, directing A Journal For Jordan, which stars Michael B. Jordan. Check out the new trailer for that drama below.

Mudbound Oscar nominee Virgil Williams wrote the script, which chronicles the story of Sergeant Charles Monroe King (Jordan), a soldier deployed to Iraq who begins to keep a journal of love and advice for his infant son. Back at home, senior New York Times editor Dana Canedy (Chanté Adams) revisits the story of her unlikely, life-altering relationship with King and his enduring devotion to her and their child.

Robert Wisdom, Tamara Tunie and Jalon Christian are also in the cast for the film, which will be in US cinemas on 22 December before heading across to the UK on 21 January next year.
