The Adam Sandler comedy machine just keeps clanking on, with the actor/producer currently developing Pretend Wife.
If he has his way, Sandler will be getting mock-hitched to Jennifer Aniston (what, Kevin James wasn't enough for him?) in a new romantic comedy. Aniston hasn't signed on yet, but few have ever refused the awesome power of the Sandler - and lived.
The concept - wrapped in secrecy for now - is being dragged kicking and screaming from the guts of a script written by Allan Loeb and Tim Dowling, which was once known as Holiday In Hawaii.
Now however, with its shiny new title, Sony is trying to lock in regular Sandler collaborator Dennis Dugan in to direct and if the deals can be hammered out, the studio wants to shoot early next year and pump that sucker out just before Valentine's Day 2011.
