Someone’s clearly found their niche.

Fresh from directing The Hills Have Eyes, Alexandre Aja has agreed to call the shots on Into The Mirror for Regency Enterprises.

The plot revolves around a security guard at a posh department store who investigates mysterious deaths that occur in front of the shop’s mirrors. The culprits – no, not the Candyman – murderous reflections bent on revenge. Yes, honestly.

Fight Club scribe Jim Uhls co-wrote the script with Joe Gangemi, though it has since been through a spit-and-polish job by Kieran and Michelle Mulroney.

But it’s not all horror in Aja’s future. He also has The Waiting, which… wait, no. That’s a horror thriller. Oh, but there’s still Black Hole which is a… horror thriller about an infection, with a story based on a graphic novel. Well, as long as he’s happy…
