The first word on casting for Warner Bros’ horror pic Hidden broke earlier this month, with Battleship’s Alexander Skarsgard nabbing the lead. The Hollywood Reporter now brings news that W.E.’s Andrea Riseborough will join him.

Co-writers Matt and Ross Duffer are stepping up to call the shots on the film, and while some of the details are being kept quiet, we do know it’s a horror thriller about a family hiding out in a bomb shelter when a mysterious outbreak hits. It should come as little surprise to learn that the vampire Eric Skarsgard and Riseborough will be playing husband and wife, who have their child with them underground.

There’s no word on exactly when it’ll kick off shooting, but the movie is currently making its way through pre-production.

Riseborough’s career has begun to skyrocket recently, what with work both here and in the US. She’ll be seen this year in James Marsh’s **Shadow Dancer **(due August 24) and also has roles in Welcome To The Punch and Disconnect, which also boasts Skarsgard among its cast. She’s currently at work shooting sci-fi pic Oblivion alongside Tom Cruise.
