Danny Boyle and producer Andrew Macdonald are to turn out another film with The Beach author Alex Garland; the $15 million sci-fi feature 28 Days Later. Garland, who also co-wrote the screenplay for The Beach, has penned the script, which involves a group of Londoners, the last survivors of a virus that has all but wiped out the human race. According to Variety, the post-apocalyptic thriller is scheduled to begin shooting in August, regardless of the upcoming Screen Actors Guild strike.
