In Face The Music, the titular slackers, played by Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, return, and despite their seeming path to superstardom at the end of Bogus Journey, have never quite achieved their full potential. They're dads now, to daughters Thea (Samara Weaving) and Billie (Brigette Lundy), and mostly make ends meet playing weddings and other events. Most of the people around them don't believe their stories of youthful time-hopping and visits to the afterlife, but their mundane existence is interrupted by a summons to the future, where they are berated for not having written the song that is supposed to usher in a utopia. Despite the ability to travel in time, the clock is now ticking – and their kids, in trying to help, have also gotten themselves into trouble...
