**Update: **We don't need to give this a news story all its own, but Ray Winstone has entered talks to play Trajan, the twin brother of Eddie Marsan's character (see below).

Hey, remember yesterday when we reported on Ian McShane locking in a deal to play a dwarf named Caesar in Snow White And The Huntsman and talked about a coming blizzard of other names on the way? Well, it’s not quite a snowstorm just yet, but a healthy drift, with Bob Hoskins, Eddie Izzard, Eddie Marsan, Toby Jones and Stephen Graham all in negotiations to join the film.

With Rupert Sanders on directorial duty, Snow White And The Huntsman tweaks the traditional tale to find Snow (Kristen Stewart) trained to fight by the very man originally ordered to kill her (Chris Hemsworth). She’ll need all her new skills to survive and plan a strategy to battle her evil stepmother (Charlize Theron). From the sound of it, the dwarf brigade will also be an active part of her revenge.

And McShane’s character's name should have been a clue that the movie is going a very different way from the traditional, Disney-branded names for the dwarfs – Jones will be the timid Claudius, Izzard is hearty and strong Tiberius and Hoskins will be Constantine, who’s also blind. Marsan will be Hadrian and Graham is Nero.

While Evan Daugherty wrote the first draft of the script, **Battle For Terra’**s Evan Spiliotopoulos is now taking a pass at it ready for Sanders to kick off shooting in September for a planned June 1 release date next year.
