The first season of the adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's graphic novel series The Boys was a violent, crazy, sexually wayward treat. Season 2 lands next year and the first trailer promises, well, more of the same.
The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on superheroes who abuse their powers and the vigilantes who embark on a heroic quest to take them down. The series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara and Nathan Mitchell. Giancarlo Esposito is retuning for S2, while Aya Cash, Claudia Doumit and Goran Visnjic are among the new faces.
Created by Supernatural veteran Eric Kripke, and boasting Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg as executive producers, The Boys will be back on Amazon Prime Video next year.
