You'll likely already have seen the first, regular trailer for Fede Alvarez' new horror thriller Don't Breathe. Now here comes the red band version, which allows for a lot more blood, sweat, fears, tears, swearing and terror.

Alvarez' Evil Dead remake star Jane Levy is here playing Rocky, a young woman struggling with life in Detroit, faced with uncaring parents and trying to do the best by her little sister. So when her boyfriend Money (Daniel Zovatto) and pal Alex (Dylan Minnette) show up offering the chance to make some real money, she tags along. The trio regularly burgles wealthy houses and makes off with what they can sell, but this is a different prospect.

Their latest target is the ramshackle house of a lonely, blind war veteran (Avatar's Stephen Lang), who won a big settlement from a rich family after his daughter died in a hit-and-run accident. But when they get in, Rocky and co. find that he's far from helpless...

The new trailer takes more of a tone poem approach than just showing you the basic plot, though you can expect tension, danger and Lang being typically tough. Don't Breathe screams its way into US cinemas on August 26 before making its way to us in the UK on September 9.
