Following the likes of the 76 Ice Age movies (okay five), the Rio films and Peanuts, the team at Blue Sky know a thing or two about heroes of different shapes and sizes and how they can find a path in life. It's a story strand that continues through the company's latest co-production with 20th Century Fox, Ferdinand. With the film due next month, a new trailer has arrived.
Inspired by the 1936 children's book The Story Of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson, the film introduces us to Ferdinand (John Cena), a giant bull with an even bigger, softer heart. Rather than getting in the bullfighting ring, he's happy to spend time making friends and smelling flowers. But when he's mistaken for a dangerous beast, he's captured and taken from his home. To get back, he'll need help from a misfit team and more courage than he's used to summoning.

With Rio wrangler Carlos Saldanha directing, the voice cast for this one also includes Kate McKinnon, David Tennant, Sally Phillips and Gina Rodriguez, and the movie will be out on 9 December.
