Chloe Zhao Named Best Director For Nomadland By The DGA Awards

The Directors Guild of America held its 73rd annual awards on Saturday night, with Chloé Zhao winning yet another trophy to add to her crowded cabinet for Nomadland.

Also winning this year? Sound Of Metal's Darius Marder, and The Truffle Hunters' Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw, who took the Documentary Award.

On the TV front, Lesli Linka Glatter scored the Dramatic prize for Homeland's 'Prisoners Of War' episode, while The Flight Attendant's Susanna Fogel was victorious for 'In Case Of Emergency'.

Scott Frank earned another award for his work on The Queen's Gambit in the TV Movie/Limited Series category, with Saturday Night Live's Don Roy King winning yet again in Variety/Talk/News/Sports – Series. The West Wing's Thomas Schlamme won Variety/Talk/News/Sports — Specials for the A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote production of 'Hartsfield's Landing'.
