Chris Pratt Wants To Find Starbuck

Thanks to his scene stealing turn in Moneyball and some decent work in The Five-Year Engagement (not to mention his stellar goofball style in Parks And Recreation), Chris Pratt has been scoring some great roles. He’s in talks to co-star with Vince Vaughn in comedy remake Starbuck.

Ken Scott, who wrote and directed the 2011 French-Canadian original, is back on duty for the US version, which sees Vaughn as a middle-aged, happy-go-lucky bachelor whose life is suddenly thrown into chaos when he discovers he’s fathered 533 children through seemingly anonymous sperm donation. Things get more complicated when a load of the kids decide that they want to meet daddy dearest, and he has to decide whether he’ll reveal his identity.

Pratt is eyeing the role of a single father of four who also happens to be a lawyer, and helps Vaughn out with his case. He’s been working on Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty, has a part in Movie 43 and is busy shooting his part in Lego film The Piece Of Resistance. Oh, and of course, he’ll report to the set of Parks and Rec for its fifth season, which arrives across the pond in the autumn.
