What happens when you’re about to star in a comedy, and the director decides to pull the eject handle on his folding chair?

If you’re Chris Rock, you step into his place. Rock has agreed to helm I Think I Love My Wife for Fox Searchlight, which Charles Stone (Drumline) has just dropped out of directing.

The previously announced film is a remake of Eric Rohmer’s 1972 French comedy Chloe In The Afternoon. The plot sees Rock’s character, married to Serenity’s Gina Torres, getting his life turned upside down by the arrival of a former lover (Kerry Washington).
