Ted Tally is no stranger to the world of the dark thriller, having penned Silence Of The Lambs. So he seems the natural choice to rewrite He Loves Me for Drew Barrymore and Warner Brothers.

Barrymore nabbed the script after Warners bought it in December from original writer Joyce Brotman. At the same time, the actresses has moved her Flower Films production company to the Warner lot and will be producing the film.

Tally told Variety that the story of He Loves Me was a "taut, sexy thriller about contemporary infidelity, which strongly questions the proposition that what you don't know won't hurt you." We just hope that his recent work writing on Shrek The Third won’t inspire him to fill the movie with talking donkeys. We find they get in the way of the tense thriller atmosphere.
