The team behind Anchorman and the upcoming Talladega Nights are at it again.

Will Ferrell and co-writer/director Adam McKay are planning a new comedy called Step Brothers. And the film will also bring back Ferrell’s Talladega Nights co-star John C Reilly.

The plot sees two coddled, socially inept types (Will Ferrell? Surely not!) living with single parents. But when the elders marry, the guys become stepbrothers.

Columbia, which collaborated with them on Talladega Nights, is on board again, signing up to pay them without even seeing a script. Now that’s faith - though the fact that McKay plans to make it for less money than Nights doesn’t hurt either. Oh, and according to McKay, it'll be a filthier comedy than either of their last two movies.
