After a long development process, Martin Scorsese is finally busy directing his latest, Killers Of The Flower Moon. And, with cameras now rolling, we have the first image of the film, which features Lily Gladstone and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Killers Of The Flower Moon sees Scorsese working with both of his main acting muses – DiCaprio and Robert De Niro on a story that adapts David Grann's non-fiction bestseller. It's set in 1920s Oklahoma and revolves around the Osage Nation, who were the richest people per capita in the world, after oil was discovered under their land and then they were murdered, one by one. As the death toll rose, the newly created FBI took up the case and unraveled a chilling conspiracy and one of the most monstrous crimes in American history.
The cast also includes an enticing blend of relative newcomers and recognizable faces: Jesse Plemons, Michael Abbott Jr., Pat Healy, Scott Shepherd, Tatanka Means, Tattoo Cardinal, Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson will all feature in the film, which has yet to announce a release date.
