Joblo.com have scored the first trailer for the Will Smith action comedy Hancock. You can see it here. UPDATE: No you can't, actually. It's been taken down for reasons beyond JoBlo's control. Boo!
Two things strike us: 1. This looks very very expensive. 2. This looks like it could be a blast. The film's director Peter Berg (The Kingdom) is entering fairly new territory with a film of this size, but this brief look suggests he's comfortable with both the comedy and the action (absolutely love the whale gag). He's also got a great cast with Smith as a superhero who's fallen out of favour with the public, Jason Bateman as a PR exec who's hired to get him back in the good books and Charlize Theron as Bateman's wife whom Hancock falls for.
After I Am Legend's performance at the weekend, Smith is on fire and this looks like it should hopefully continue that.
