Ethan Hawke and Kristen Scott Thomas have signed on to indie thriller The Woman In The Fifth, which has been adapted from Douglas Kennedy’s book.
Pawel Pawlikowski is directing the story o f a film lecturer (Hawke) who flees America for Paris in the wake of a scandal that led to him getting the sack.
He starts romancing a widow (Scott) who has her own dodgy past – she just might be involved in a series of murders. We suggest he checks for an ice pick under the bed.
The pair will report to the Parisian set in early March to start shooting.
