Stars post messages of condolences

On this international day of remembrance, filmstars in their own way are commemorating and commenting on their official websites on this week's tragic events in the US. Ian McKellen, who kept fans up-to-date while X-Men and Lord of the Rings was being filmed, has this message on his website; 'Our support and condolences go to the many families and friends affected by the destruction, and our appreciation to the thousands of extraordinary heroes.' Others, including Steven Seagal and Christian Bale have posted short messages on their sites, sending their condolences to the relatives of the victims. Always one to stand out in a crowd, Shirley MacLaine has this message for her readers; 'We must be careful in our reactions and not carry over the anger and fear to our personal lives and to the lives of those around us. Judgement based on anger and fear is another form of terrorism.' Some, seem to have missed the point slightly. Steve Martin's site posted this message;
