Leslie Nielsen appears in spoof film. Yes, it’s apparently still news.
Nielsen, who has forged quite the successful second career using his stony features as a rock for spoof films has signed up for a part in Scary Movie 4.
Also returning to the franchise are Carmen Electra (who died in the original but returns as a new character) and Simon Rex. Nielsen and Rex will play the same characters as in Scary Movie 3 - so that’s the alien-obsessed President and George, the confused wannabe rapper brother of Charlie Sheen’s Signs-style farmer.
The plot this time round parodies The Village, and David Zucker is busily directing once again.
