Julianne Hough, who is apparently a country singer and a contestant on the hit US TV show **Dancing With The Stars **but who, frankly, we wouldn’t recognise if she walked into Empire Towers wearing a flashing sandwich board with a giant picture of her face next to the words, ‘I Am Julianne Hough’, has signed on to star alongside Chace Crawford, aka the Diet Zac Efron, in the remake of Footloose.
This now rockets the Kenny Ortega-directed movie, which starts filming next month, to 8,627th on our list of most anticipated projects, just behind the hot new thriller, **101 Ways To Improve Your Grouting **and the new David Spade film, whatever the hell it is.
Apparently, the casting has yet to be confirmed and is dependent on scheduling, but we wish Hough – or maybe that should be Whough? - the best of luck.
