While M. Night Shyamalan usually prefers to keep the details of his movies under wraps, he's now released some information about his next project as shooting kicks off. The writer/director has tweeted a posted for the film, which is called Old.

The actual plot details are still a mystery, though the poster that he put out (below) features the monochrome image of an hourglass where human bodies replace the sand. A thriller about the ultimate killer – age? We'll have to wait and see until more images or a trailer arrives.

What we do know is that this is Shyamalan's biggest cast for years, with the ranks including Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Vicky Krieps, Abbey Lee, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Ken Leung, Gael Garcia Bernal, Rufus Sewell, Embeth Davidtz and Emun Elliott.

Old should be in cinemas next July.
