With David Fincher's Mank already the focus of plenty of awards attention, the director is looking to the next movie he'll make for Netflix. He already has veteran collaborator Andrew Kevin Walker aboard, and Michael Fassbenderis considering taking on the lead role in The Killer.

Netflix has yet to confirm Fassbender's inclusion in the film, which points to deal-making still in process. Yet we do know that Se7en, Fight Club and The Game writer Walker are adapting Alexis Nolent's graphic novel, which focuses on a cold-blooded assassin who begins to develop a conscience, causing him to emotionally crack.

It'll mark the next movie from Fincher's four-year deal with Netflix, a place where he really seems to have found a filmmaking home.
