A long-burning passion project for Moon man Duncan Jones (it was supposed to be his first film), Mute is finally seeing screens via Netflix, and the first trailer is online.

The sci-fi noir is set in a futuristic Berlin, where Alexander Skarsgård's mute Amish-turned-bartender Leo who turns private eye when his girlfriend Naadirah (Seyneb Saleh) goes missing.

Yet as he digs into her disappearance, he learns some disturbing things about her. And along the way he runs into the likes of Paul Rudd's splendidly-mustachioed Cactus Bill and Justin Theroux's Duck Teddington.
