Well, it’s not the first trailer we’ve seen but it’s certainly the most spectacular – here in a nutshell is Casino Royale and it looks like a doozy – even for those who gave up on the franchise about the same time that the car turned invisible in Die Another Day.
Starting with the black-and-white account of how Bond earns those double 0s, we’re soon given the basic set-up of this film (banker’s in a high-stakes poker game; Bond is sent to beat him) as well as an introduction to the love story between Bond and Eva Green’s Vesper Lynd. But then it’s enough of the mushy stuff, as the trailer finishes with more action than Arnold Schwarzenegger’s entire career. And whatever the doubters would have you believe, on this evidence Craig's got the part down pat.
