After waiting what seems like a lifetime for the latest James Bond adventure, No Time to Die, to actually arrive in cinemas, the final – cross your fingers, folks – trailers for Daniel Craig's swan song as Ian Fleming's complicated hero are online, promising solid release dates. And they're actually different, so check out the international version first, which is a more straightforward look at the new movie...

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga from a script he wrote alongside Bond veterans Neal Purvis and Robert Wade (with an assist from Phoebe Waller-Bridge), the film finds Crag's retired, having left active service and enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica with Madeline Swann (Léa Seydoux). His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain (Rami Malek's Safin) armed with dangerous new technology.

Along the way, we can expect the usual action, sharp suits and stuff going boom, while Ralph Fiennes' M, Naomie Harris' Moneypenny and Ben Whishaw's Q help Bond out (while also keeping a handle on him). New recruits this time include Lashana Lynch as Nomi, who has taken over the 007 title, and Ana de Armas as Paloma, an intelligence operative who aids Bond in his mission.

The US trailer for the film, meanwhile, blends some of the footage in the other promo with a look at Craig's legacy, and how the story of his Bond has continued over several films since his introduction in Casino Royale.

And talking of Craig's legacy in particular, a new retrospective documentary, Being James Bond, promises to share the untold story of his journey since taking on the title. The documentary premieres on Apple TV on 7 September.

No Time To Die, meanwhile, will hit UK and other international cinemas on 30 September, ahead of its 8 October launch in the US.
