RZA signs on for Downey Jr's Due Date

RZA has signed on to Todd Phillips’ road trip comedy, Due Date, alongside Robert Downey Jr., Michelle Monaghan, Jamie Foxx and Zach Galifianakis.

There’s no word yet on the nature of the role, but the comedy sees Downey Jr. star as a man who embarks on a desperate road trip across the States in order to get home to the birth of his child. We’re sure that RZA will be one of the people Downey encounters along the way – and hilarity will doubtless ensue.

RZA, who’s also scheduled to appear in Paul Haggis’ The Next Three Days, is slowly taking over Hollywood with composing/acting/writing and producing gigs, while he’s working on his directorial debut, The Man With The Iron Fist, which will be produced by Eli Roth.

Warner Bros. is stumping up the cash for Due Date, which is set for release next November.
