It can be a tough old life making a superhero movie when you know that the paparazzi and other set stalkers are just waiting to snap a badly-lit image of your central character's suit. Aiming to get out ahead of all that is Shazam! Fury Of The Gods director David F. Sandberg, who has posted a properly composed image of Zachary Levi and his "Shazamily" in their updated sequel outfits on twitter.
Pictured alongside Levy are Adam Brody as Freddy Freeman, Meagan Good as Darla Dudley, DJ Cotrona as Pedro Peña, Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield (the only one of the younger stars to play their grown variant), and Ross Butler as Eugene Choi. They're the superhero versions of Billy Batson's (Asher Angel) foster family members, and it's confirmation that we'll be seeing the family's hero characters once again.
The actual story – written again by Henry Gayden – remains largely under wraps, but we do know that the film's threat will come from the daughters of Atlas, played by Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu and Rachel Zegler.
Shazam! Fury Of The Gods is set to fly into UK cinemas on 2 June, 2023.
