Is Michael Caine the busiest actor in the UK? Certainly a look at his current schedule would seem to suggest the newly-knighted Caine isn't slowing up a bit when it comes to making movies. Hard on the heels of putting the finishing touches to British movie, Last Orders, Caine has added his name to yet another production. Boswell For The Defence, which begins filming in Britain in May 2001, features Caine playing the eponymous Mr Boswell - a failed lawyer trying an impossible case in 18th century London. The film will be directed by Oscar-nominated director Bruce 'Driving Miss Daisy' Beresford. Somehow, Sir Maurice will have to fit Boswell in between Anthony Minghella's next film, The Quiet American and another project, Quicksand, in which he plays opposite Michael Keaton as a washed-up film star. Nothing, it seems, could be further from the truth.
