Even as movies are shut down and cinemas are closed, there is still the future to look forward to, and among the movies headed our way is the title formerly known as Space Jam 2. Now, thanks to star (and slightly famous basketball-doer) LeBron James, we know that it's called Space Jam: A New Legacy.
What he didn't reveal much of is the plot. While the original saw Michael Jordan helping Bugs Bunny and his Looney Tunes pals take on a bunch of kidnap-happy aliens at basketball to win their freedom. We can assume something similar – a return engagement, another clash? – with Don Cheadle as a villain and Sonequa Martin-Green as James' wife.
James' company is producing the film and Warner Bros. is still aiming to release it on 16 July 2021.
