After taking time more recently to work on his Small Axe anthology series and directing documentaries, Steve McQueen is making a plan to head back to the big screen. He's set up a new film project called Blitz.
The writer/producer/director isn't releasing any details about the movie just yet, though we do know he aims to have the cameras cranking next year. All anyone outside of his inner circles knows is it's an original idea from the man himself.
This latest project will see him teaming back up again with New Regency, where he made 12 Years A Slave and Widows, while Working Title is also aboard to produce.
