If we thought that the reactions to plans for a remake of The Night Of The Hunter were fairly negative, we can only imagine the response to word that someone thinks it might be a good plan to remake 2001 Nicole Kidman horror The Others.
Next year marks 20 years since director Alejandro Amenabar sent shivers down our collective spines with the film, which sees Kidman as Grace, a war widow who hides her children away in an isolated mansion due to a rare disease characterized by photosensitivity. For those who have not seen it, we'll say no more other than: see it! As for the planned new version, it's a result of Sentient Entertainment splashing cash to buy the remake rights and aiming to switch the story to the present day.
