It’s become standard procedure for Woody Allen to wrap his films in a veil of secrecy until the last moment, but now, a few months away from shooting his latest, he’s ripped the covers from the film to announce that it’ll be called Midnight In Paris. And he’s also named some new actors joining the cast.

While we already knew that Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates and French First Lady Carla Bruni had signed on, the Woodster took to the press to announce the casting of Michael Sheen, Nina Arianda, Tom Hiddleston, Corey Stoll, Mimi Kennedy and Kurt Fuller.

But wait! There’s more! He’s also blabbed about the plot – it’ll follow a family travelling to France’s famed City Of Lights for a business trip, including a young engaged couple who sees their lives transformed.

"The film celebrates a young man's great love for Paris, and simultaneously explores the illusion people have that a life different from their own is better," he said in a statement, which Variety picked up.

He’ll kick off production on location in the city in the summer, while those who are working with him for the first time will start formulating their answer to the classic “what was it like acting for Woody?” question.
