A new Bucky bromance could be taking shape with news that Sebastian Stan, Cap’s bosom buddy Bucky Barnes in the MCU, is joining another team-up movie in Steven Soderbergh’s crime flick Logan Lucky.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stan will be playing a three-time champion NASCAR driver who’s coming back to the racing circuit after a spell away. In the spirit of Kubrick’s The Killing, a big race, presumably involving Stan, forms the backdrop for a daring heist. The crime is planned by two brothers using the chaos and roar of the racing cars to distract from their scheme.

The film offers an intriguing cast line-up, too. There are a few big-screen returns involved, namely for Soderbergh himself to filmmaking, Katherine Heigl to high-profile projects and Daniel Craig to movies that don’t involve being tortured by pathological European men.

Also on board are Channing Tatum, Hilary Swank, Adam Driver, Seth MacFarlane, David Denman and Riley Keough. First-time screenwriter Rebecca Blunt is behind the script and it’s currently filming in Atlanta.
