I May Destroy You, Save Me Too, Inside No. 9

Continuing her successful run of awards, Michaela Coel added two more trophies to the list for I May Destroy You, as the show was among the big winners at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday evening.

I May Destroy You triumphed over the likes of Small Axe in the miniseries category, while Coel took Leading Actress for her shattering performance. Steve McQueen's set of TV Movies didn't go home empty handed, though ,as Malachi Kirby nabbed Supporting Actor, with Rakie Ayola winning Supporting Actress for Anthony.

On the drama front, Lennie James' Save Me Too won over shows such as Gangs Of London and The Crown, while Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton's inventive Inside No. 9 was named top of the scripted comedy category. Normal People's Paul Mescal won Leading Actor, while the comedy performances went to Charlie Cooper in This Country and Sex Education's Aimee Lou Wood.
