Word that Aardman is working on something new is always good news, and we've known for a while that the animation team has a special planned for Netflix later this year called Robin Robin. The first teaser for the special is online and you can watch it below.
Written and directed by Dan Ojari and Mikey Please, the special will feature the voice talents of Gillian Anderson, Richard E. Grant, Adeel Akhtar and more.
The story is as follows... When her egg falls from the nest, Robin (Bronte Carmichael) is adopted by a family of mice, and raised as one of their own. Not quite a bird and not quite a mouse, but full of determination. Robin sets out on an adventure to prove herself and just maybe, get a sandwich.
Robin Robin will premiere on Netflix on 27 November.
