The trailer for **Fright Night arrived a couple of weeks ago, but now there’s a full clip from the film online, featuring Colin Farrell’s decidedly creepy Jerry Dandridge having a little man-to-man (well, vampire-to-teen) with Anton Yelchin’s Charley Brewster. You can take a look below.

Featuring Farrell in full-on charm offensive – with the emphasis on offensive, since he decides to unload on Charley everything he’s been thinking about with regards to his mother Jane (Toni Collette) and Amy (Imogen Poots), the girl he likes. Suffice to say, it’s not exactly a comfortable conversation for Charley.

Fright Night, of course, follows the basic plot of the 1985 original, as Charley increasingly begins to suspect that his mysterious new neighbour might be something slightly more dangerous than just a lothario with a wandering eye. Soon, he and best pal “Evil” Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) are trying to fight off the fiend, roping in cheesy performance art magician Peter Vincent (David Tennant). Hope they’ve got the holy water on tap…

Take a look at the clip and let us know your thoughts.

The film is out on September 2.
